Principal's Message
Dear Granada Families and Community,
Welcome to the 2026–2027 school year! It is my pleasure to welcome both returning and new families to another exciting year at Granada Elementary School. I am honored to continue serving this incredible community and look forward to partnering with you to ensure every student has an exceptional educational experience.
Granada is a place where every child is known, valued, and empowered to succeed. Together, we are committed to preparing our students to become Life and Future Ready through engaging instruction, meaningful relationships, and a school culture where every student feels a true sense of belonging.
This last year, we proudly celebrated earning the 2025 PBIS Platinum Recognition, the highest distinction for creating a positive, equitable, and student-centered school environment. We are also honored to have been recognized as the San Gabriel Valley's Favorite School for three consecutive years. These accomplishments reflect the dedication of our students, staff, families, and community, and the strong partnerships that make Granada such a special place.
Our mission is to provide a comprehensive education that recognizes and nurtures the unique potential of every child. Grounded in equity and inclusion, we embrace the diverse strengths of our students while inspiring them to become resilient, compassionate, and responsible lifelong learners.

As your principal, I remain committed to ensuring every student is challenged academically, supported socially and emotionally, and encouraged to discover their unique gifts. Together with our dedicated staff and supportive families, we will continue building on Granada's tradition of excellence and creating opportunities for every student to learn, lead, and succeed.

¡Bienvenidos al año escolar 2026–2027! Es un placer dar la bienvenida tanto a las familias que regresan como a aquellas que se unen a nuestra comunidad por primera vez para vivir otro emocionante año en la Escuela Primaria Granada. Me siento profundamente honrada de continuar sirviendo a esta extraordinaria comunidad y espero seguir trabajando en colaboración con ustedes para garantizar que cada estudiante reciba una educación excepcional.
Granada es un lugar donde cada estudiante es conocido, valorado y apoyado para alcanzar el éxito. Juntos, estamos comprometidos a preparar a nuestros estudiantes para estar Listos para la Vida y el Futuro (Life and Future Ready) mediante una enseñanza de alta calidad, relaciones significativas y una cultura escolar donde todos experimenten un verdadero sentido de pertenencia.
El año pasado celebramos con orgullo haber recibido el Reconocimiento Platino de PBIS 2025, la más alta distinción por fomentar un ambiente escolar positivo, equitativo y centrado en los estudiantes. También nos sentimos honrados de haber sido reconocidos como la Escuela Favorita del Valle de San Gabriel durante tres años consecutivos. Estos logros reflejan la dedicación de nuestros estudiantes, personal, familias y comunidad, así como las sólidas alianzas que hacen de Granada un lugar tan especial.
Nuestra misión es brindar una educación integral que reconozca y desarrolle el potencial único de cada estudiante.
