Important Message From Dr. Soria

Dear Granada Educational Partners,

I hope this message finds you and your loved ones safe during these incredibly challenging times. My heart goes out to all of you as we collectively grapple with the devastating wildfires that have affected our surrounding community.

I want to sincerely apologize for not communicating with you sooner. I am currently abroad, but please know that I have been closely monitoring the situation from afar and have been in constant contact with district officials to stay up-to-date on the latest developments. Although I am not physically in town, my commitment to the safety and well-being of our students, staff, and families remains a priority.

Additionally, I acknowledge that the emotional and psychological toll of this crisis may require additional support for some of our students. Please know that we are committed to providing resources and assistance upon our school’s reopening. Our staff will be ready to offer the care and support needed to help our students through this difficult time.

I encourage you to continue visiting the AUSD website and check your email regularly for updates from the district. The district will be providing important information through these platforms as the situation evolves.

As a community, we stand strong together. If you need assistance or have any concerns, do not hesitate to reach out to our district offices or school staff. We are here to help.

Please take care of yourselves and your families. Wishing you all safety, strength, and peace during this challenging time. We look forward to welcoming everyone back when it is safe to do so.

Warmly,
Dr. Soria
Granada School Principal
