PLUS Program: Peer Leaders Uniting Student Vision
At Granada Elementary, we are excited to spotlight the PLUS Program (Peer Leaders Uniting Student Vision), an innovative initiative empowering students to take an active role in shaping our school’s culture. PLUS leaders are role models, collaborators, and changemakers who work to create an environment where every student feels valued, supported, and inspired to succeed.

Through team-building activities, community outreach, and student-led events, our PLUS leaders foster inclusivity and connection while addressing important topics such as empathy, cooperation, and gratitude. These students serve as ambassadors of positivity, encouraging their peers to engage in meaningful conversations and develop skills that extend beyond the classroom.

Some highlights of the PLUS Program include:

  • Peer-Led Workshops: Interactive sessions that promote kindness, resilience, and problem-solving.
  • Schoolwide Events: Organized activities to strengthen school spirit and build a sense of community.
  • Student Voice Forums: Platforms where students can share their ideas, challenges, and aspirations in a safe and supportive space.
  • Mentorship Opportunities: Guidance and support for younger students to help them navigate challenges.

We are incredibly proud of our PLUS leaders for their dedication to making Granada Elementary a welcoming and supportive place for all. Stay tuned for updates and spotlights on their incredible work throughout the school year!
